Health is the general condition of a persons mind and body, usually meaning to be free from illness, injury and pain as in good health or healthy. Health is a positive outcome that is meaningful for people and society. Health integrates mental health (mind) and physical (body) health resulting in disease prevention and health promotion.

Systematic activities to prevent or cure health problems and good health in humans are undertaken by health care providers. The maintenance and promotion of health is achieved through different combination of physical, mental, and social well being together.

A persons social life can have a great effect on their mental health and maintaining a healthy social life can play a significant part in recovery from severe mental illness. The ability to adapt and to self manage have been suggested as core components of human health.

Health can be improved by focusing on factors like exercise, enough sleep, maintaining body weight, limiting alcohol consumption, and avoiding smoking. Apart from these factors environmental parameters, personal hygiene and genetics or hereditary are also important for a person to be  healthy.

Adverse conditions or unfavorable environment are the potential cause of deceasing health. There are lots of type of health issues across the globe. Disease is one of the most common type which affects an individual making him/her unhealthy.

There are also genetic disorders that are inherited by an individual and can vary in how much it affects the person when they surface. Lack of access to health care system is also an health issue affecting majority of world population.
